    FachPack 2019

    From September 24-26, 2019 the FachPack will take place in Nuremberg. The Fraunhofer ISC will participate at the booth of the Fachagentur Nachwachsende Rohstoffe in hall 7A booth number 437. We present the new project Bio-Barrier-Films (BioBaFol), funded within the programme Renewable Resources of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture. Together with the project partners, Fraunhofer ISC is developing PLA-based films with special barrier properties for the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors.

    Particle-Based Materials Symposium

    26.09.2019 The goal of the Particle Based Materials Symposium is to bring together scientists and engineers from different communities that all share the goal of creating functionality in materials using particles. The synthesis, processing and materials integration of particles into thin films, bulk matrices, fibers or other geometries are covered by this symposium.

    Interieur im Automobil 2019

    On September 26, 2019, the Center Smart Materials CeSMa of the Fraunhofer ISC participates in the event »Interieur im Automobil«. We will show our sensor materials for automotive interior as well as controls that can provide haptic feedback. In addition, we will exhibit changing surfaces and active operating concepts with magnetorheological elastomers as well as operating concepts with novel dielectric elastomer sensors.

    Euro PM 2019

    From October 13-16, the Euro PM2019 will take place in Maastricht (the Netherlands). Dr. Andreas Diegeler from the Fraunhofer ISC will give a talk on "Characterization of Additive Manufactured PM Parts Using Thermo-Optical Measuring Technique".

    PACRIM13

    From October 27 to November 1, PACRIM13 will be held in Okinawa, Japan. Dr. Andreas Diegeler from the Fraunhofer ISC will give a lecture on "Optical detection and structural analysis of creep behavior during the sintering of ceramic parts using the versatile thermo-optical-measurement technique TOM".
