Laser World of Photonics 2023

Visit our booth 530.5 in Hall B1 at Laser World of Photonics 2023 in Munich (Germany), June 27-30, for an informative exchange about our high-quality optical polymers and related process technologies for optical and opto-electronic applications. 

Fraunhofer ISC develops and licenses high-quality optical polymers and corresponding process technologies for optical and optoelectronic applications. This enables µm structures such as micro-optical components, waveguides, lenses and gratings, as well as illumination optics, to be produced with a resolution of up to 100 nm (roughness ≤ 20 nm).

Additive processes are used to create structured macroscopic elements of several centimeters in length with high optical quality in sub-µm resolution. The materials developed at Fraunhofer ISC are thermally stable hybrid polymers (ORMOCER®) and composites as well as wet-processed inorganic layers.

We can generate a wide range of refractive indices and transmission properties, also in combination with different electrical, mechanical, thermal or biological specifications. The aim of Fraunhofer ISC's research and development department is to increase quality at lower cost using sustainable technologies.
