»Materials meet biomedicine - Excursion through the biolaboratories of Fraunhofer ISC«
As an evening event of the conference, the Fraunhofer ISC invites all paticipants to join a guided tour through our analytical and biomedical laboratories at Neunerplatz on April 8, 2019. The event is free of charge for all participants of the events Investor's Day / German Biotech Days.

6:15 pm: meeting at our booth 29 at CCW
6:30 pm: lab tour through the Fraunhofer ISC

On April 9 - 10, the Fraunhofer ISC will exhibit at the German Biotech Days (DBT), the leading networking platform for the German biotech industry.

The Fraunhofer Translational Center Regenerative Therapies TLC-RT will show its research focus which is on the development of human tissue models. They can be used as alternative test systems instead of animal experimentation and allow the establishment of innovative implants used for advanced therapeutic therapies in Regenerative Medicine.
The Project Center for Stem Cell Process Engineering presents its most recent developments in the field of cell culture automation using novel materials – a microcarrier-based culture system (bioreactor) will be exhibited.

Dr. Oliver Pullig will give a lecture in the slot "Biotech, Medtech und IT – Konvergenz oder Konkurrenz", which takes place on April 10, from 2.00 to 3.30 pm.
