Fairs and Events

Visit us from June 11 - 13, 2024, at the Sensor + Test trade fair in Nuremberg, where the Fraunhofer ISC will be represented at the joint booth of Bayern Innovativ, booth 430 in Hall 1. 

The Fraunhofer ISC will be presenting intelligent materials for the realization of controllable systems and technological components. The focus will be on the development of smart elastomers for integrated sensor technology as well as comprehensive process technology know-how for the combination of electronics with textiles or paper. 

At the trade fair, Fraunhofer ISC will be presenting prototypes of smart textiles and sensor patches for measuring pressure, temperature and humidity. Large-area sensors can be used both for process control (predictive maintenance) and for intelligent packaging, in which the sensors are printed directly onto paper/plastic film. Fraunhofer ISC is also presenting a sensor array that monitors the expansion of battery cells with spatial resolution in order to increase the cycle stability and lifetime of batteries. The sensors can also be adapted to a variety of other measurement tasks.
