ATC Conference 2024

»Inorganic Chemistry Empowering Sustainability«

Inorganic chemistry can be one of the keys to more sustainable production. Resource- and energy-saving manufacturing processes, replacement of critical substances or efficient recycling processes are examples that many companies and institutions are currently working on.

The ATC conference is one of THE events in this field, where industry and research exchange ideas and create new ideas for common goals and developments. The ATC Conference, previously organized under the umbrella of DECHEMA, is changing host: the new organizer will be the Fraunhofer Chemistry Alliance.

The 31. ATC Conference 2024 with a new host

The 31st ATC Conference will be held from March 21 - 22, 2024, for the first time under Fraunhofer umbrella at the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research ISC in Würzburg, a member of the Fraunhofer Chemistry Alliance.
The scientific ATC Advisory Board with its partner institutions and companies will remain in its proven composition. The previous event concept will also be retained and jointly developed further. A key feature of the concept is the close networking and good exchange between academia and industry.

Focal points of the ATC Conference 2024:

  • Beyond PFAS
  • Organo-Silicium
  • "Green Deal" - new batteries, recycling, raw materials, LCA

Save the date and meet the key players of inorganic chemistry in Würzburg!

Call for Papers/Posters:

Contributions (presentations and posters) are welcome. The scientific committee will select oral contributions based on originality of the research, the level of research indicated in the abstract and relevance to the topics PFAS, Organo-Silicium/Packaging and GreenDeal.

The deadline for abstracts and posters: December 23, 2023

  • Researchers and experts from industry are invited to participate.
  • Any author wishing to submit a paper may only submit an abstract.
  • The official language for the conference is English.
  • The maximum length of the abstract is 2000 characters, including references and acknowledgements.

Please note that only a limited number of places are available.

Notification of oral or poster contributions and the invitation to register will be sent in mid-January 2024.
