Presenting at Achema, the leading fair for process industry, Fraunhofer ISC will present the Aquajust^®, a semi-automatic volumetric adjustment device for flasks and measuring cylinders. Besides that it will be shown thermo-optical measuring systems as well as calibration equipment of volumetric flasks for quality assurance at the joint booth of Fraunhofer.

At the joint booth from Think Beyond Plastic Dr. Sabine Amberg-Schwab will present the novel bioORMOCER^®s, a new class of materials developed by the Fraunhofer ISC. bioORMOCER^®s are completely compostable and can easily be applied onto bioplastics or conventional plastics as a barrier coating. They can even turn conventional packaging films into recyclable materials.

Also, meet our colleague Dr. Karl Mandel. On 11. June at 3pm he will give a presentation about “Synthesis and processing of tailored nanoparticles by wet chemical particle technology: from lab to pilot scale”.

On 12. June at 10.30am he is the chair in the topic “Materials and materials processing - particles, fibres, ..”.
